Four!

My cousin drew pictures of penguins when he was young, and they remain his favorite animal. I have watched penguins waddle into the water, press their heads against the glass, and hop back up on the ice at zoo exhibits in freezing conditions. I have taken many pictures, but none like the one shown here.

There are 17 to 20 different species of penguins; each have their own unique physical characteristics and ways of adapting to their local environment. Even within the same species, no two penguins look exactly the same (ask people that study them).
